Learnt the most valuable business lesson from a pani puri vendor today . So it all started with me being in the queue from several minutes waiting for my turn, along with several others in my trip that he would serve next altogether. I was the first amongst all the next ones and the only one on a two wheeler and the others came out of a car. So our turn came and we started having our puris one by one in a circle. Half way through suddenly it starts to rain and we all are in a rush to get back home . So much interestingly, i felt really nice and grateful that he served me at twice the rate as others and asked me to eat fast and mentioned that madam you have to go home fast otherwise you would get wet. And smiled . When the customer gets such taken care of, he/she not only remembers the same but also starts to believe in the vendor that no matter what everything will be taken care of and thats what business means, client relationship, customer satisfaction, customer service quality and all the jargons that people study in various books and case studies, a pani puri vendor taught by a simple behavioural manner. Grateful to have such people in our country and they can make really good businesses in future.
